Bearcats hosting Capitals tonight

TRURO – The Truro Bearcats play their second of three holiday weekend games tonight when they host the Summerside Western Capitals for a 7 p. m. start at the RECC. The Bearcats hosted the Amherst Ramblers last night ( visit trurodaily. com for result), and the teams meet on Monday for a 2 p. m. matinee at the Amherst Stadium. Truro is in a tight race for top spot in the Maritime Junior Hockey League’s Eastlink South Division. The Bearcats entered Friday’s game in third place, just two points behind second- place Yarmouth and four back of division- leading Pictou County.
