Millman ranked first in Canada

REGINA – Peter Millman holds the top ranking in shot put heading to the U Sport National Track and Field Championships. Millman, a Truro native and member of the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns, set a new Nova Scotia record with his put of 17.54m at the Canada West Championships in Regina on Saturday. This was Millman’s third consecutive Canada West gold in shot put.

Millman also won his fifth straight Can-West weight throw event and heads to the national championships ranked third in that event. The national championships will be held in Edmonton March 9 -11.
