Walking for Alzheimer’s
Tony and Shirley Bidwell took part in the Halifax Walk for Alzheimer’s for three years. This year they decided to hold one right in their own neighbourhood of Wallace River. They called their team of 32 the Wallace River Walkers and marked out a route along the river, through woods, and finished with a picnic in their daughter’s equestrian arena. They raised $11,600.
The first Truro walk was also held this year, raising $15,492.
