Elks, Blues to meet for junior B tilt tonight

BROOKFIELD, N.S. — The Brookfield Elks seek their first Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League win tonight when they host the Cumberland County Blues.

Puck drop at the Don Henderson Memorial Sportsplex is 7:30 p.m. The Elks enter the contest after four straight losses to start the season, including a 10-1 defeat at the hands of the Cole Harbour Colts last Friday.

The Blues have had an equally tough start and are also winless in four games to start the season. Following tonight’s contest, the Elks hit the road to Liverpool on Saturday for a game against the Privateers.
