Po­lice seek help iden­ti­fy­ing sus­pect in theft of tools

A man who left a re­tail store with $1,200 worth of tools is be­ing sought by po­lice.

The RCMP said in a news re­lease that the man left the Cana­dian Tire store in Lower Truro with a 12V De­walt cord­less drill, a 20V De­walt cord­less drill, a 20V De­walt im­pact drill and a 20V De­walt high torque im­pact drill with­out pay­ing for them.

Any­one who has in­for­ma­tion about the in­ci­dent or can iden­tify the sus­pect, is asked to call Colch­ester RCMP at 902-8965000, or should you wish to re­main anony­mous, you can also con­tact Nova Sco­tia Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or text TIP202 + your mes­sage to ‘CRIMES’ (274637) or sub­mit tips by Se­cure Web Tips at www.crimestop­pers.ns.ca.
