Support for helping cause was terrific

To the editor:

I thank the 150-plus sponsors who contributed to my campaign to raise funds for the Terry Fox Foundation. I exceeded my goal!

Around June 17, I started canvassing in Truro and Brookfield. It was very nice, with 23 patrons giving over $100 each.

On the day of the Terry Fox Run, Sept. 17, I walked five kilometres and submitted $4,700 to the Halifax office of the Terry Fox Foundation.
