Regi­nald Scot­field Ful­ton – 86, Bass River, passed away peace­fully in Colch­ester East Hants Health Cen­tre on Satur­day, November 11, 2017. Reg was born in Everett, Mass. to Harry Knight Ful­ton and Hazel Alice (Thomp­son) Ful­ton on Sept. 28, 1931. He worked in the woods, on bridges for High­ways and was the owner/op­er­a­tor of the Bass River Garage with his wife, Betty. Reg en­joyed the woods and be­ing at the camp, hunt­ing, fish­ing, gar­den­ing and rem­i­nisc­ing with fam­ily and friends.

He is sur­vived by his wife of 64 years, June Elizabeth “Betty” nee Tay­lor; daugh­ters, Martha (Steve Brown), Bass River, June (Vin­cent Margiewicz), Bris­tol, TN, An­nette (David Jen­nings) Masstown and son, Pa­trick (Jeanette) Fall River; his sis­ter, Alice Ful­ton, Bass River; grand­chil­dren: Re­becca Brown, Hilden, Tay­lor Brown, Camp­bell River, Sa­man­tha Moore (Kyle) Old Barns; Vin­cent, James (Fran­cisca) and

John Margiewicz, New York, Lind­say Jen­nings Green­field, Kyler Jen­nings (Lex) Masstown; Ja­cob and Ja­clyn Ful­ton, Fall River; great grand­chil­dren, Kaden, Char­lene, Ava, Con­nor, Ful­ton and Mathew.

Pre­de­ceased by son Jef­fery Richard, par­ents, Harry and Hazel Ful­ton and brother, Theodore.

A fam­ily grave­side ser­vice will be held Thurs­day, November 16 at 2 p.m. in River­side United Ceme­tery, Rev. Florence An­tle-Bri­son of­fi­ci­at­ing. The fam­ily in­vites friends to join them for a Cel­e­bra­tion of Life Re­cep­tion that will fol­low in the Bass River Fire Hall.
