Free Microsoft Office training for farmers
A new weekly course is coming to the Truro Public Library that will teach farmers how to turn their computers into a business tool.
The free course, which is re- ferred to as ‘Training to become a Microsoft Office Rock Star’, is a 40-hour Workplace Education course being offered by the Nova Scotia Federation of Agriculture, and will focus on teaching those in the farming industry the ins and outs of Microsoft Office.
Each lesson will focus on the different programs within the Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
The course will start on Tuesday, Jan. 30 at 9 a.m. in the Patterson Room at the Truro Public Library, and will run each Tuesday from 9 to 1 p.m. until April 3.
