Truro Nissan takes 3-1 win over Ice Hogs

TRURO, N.S. — Truro Nissan took a 3-1 decision over the Ice Hogs Monday night at the RECC in Colchester Women’s Recreational Hockey League action. Nissan led 2-0 after the opening frame and the teams exchanged a goal apiece in the second before a scoreless third.

Emily Wainwright had a pair of goals for the winners, while Kayla Macnutt had the other. April Mackay picked up two assists, with single helpers going to Macnutt, Jordan Johnson, Kathleen Johnson and Heather Dyke. Carley Burgess replied for the Ice Hogs with a secondperiod goal on a setup by Amelia Butler.
