Capitals, Mariners move up in Cjhlrankin­gs

CALGARY, ALTA. — The Summerside Western Capitals and Yarmouth Mariners remain entrenched in the Canadian Junior Hockey League’s latest Top 20 rankings, released this week. The Maritime Junior Hockey League teams have also moved up from earlier rankings.

The Capitals, who lead the league’s north division, sit at seventh spot in the rankings, after a previous week’s ranking of 11th. The Mariners, meanwhile, top team in the MHL’S south division, hold 12th place, up from 17th. The top-ranked team in the country is the Brooks Bandits of the Alberta league, who were previously third.
