Recyclable collection suspended across Colchester County

TRURO, N.S. – People are asked not to put out blue bags until further notice. Collection of recyclables, for both

Town of Truro and County of Colchester, is cancelled effective immediately until April 8. A notice about resumption of service or a further suspension will be made before the period is up. To follow safe-distancing rules, recyclable sorting at the Kemptown sorting facility has been temporarily halted. Collection of compost and clear and black bags continues as scheduled.
