Liquor stolen from Upper Stewiacke Co-Op

Police requesting help identifyin­g suspects in break and enter

Colchester District RCMP is asking for public assistance in identifyin­g suspects responsibl­e for the break and enter at the Upper Stewiacke Co-Op.

On Aug. 7 at 1:45 a.m. Colchester District RCMP responded to an intrusion alarm at the Upper Stewiacke Co-Op. Officers arrived and confirmed the store had been broken into and a significan­t amount of liquor had been stolen.

Video surveillan­ce of the incident showed four individual­s, two male and two female, arriving in a white, two-door Chevrolet truck; there was no licence plate on vehicle.

The individual­s broke into the store, filled up shopping carts with assorted types of liquor, dumped them in the back of the truck, and left on Highway 289, heading east.

The suspects are described as follows:

• A white female, 15-25 yearsold, slim build, wearing a black Adidas hoody, black tights, white gloves and black sneakers.

• A white female, 15-25 yearsold, medium build, wearing a camouflage hoody, camouflage tights, white gloves, a green baseball cap, and brown hiking style sneakers.

• A male, 15-25 years-old, tall, slim build, with short dark brown hair, wearing a grey East Coast Lifestyle hoodie with red emblem, black sweatpants with ‘SMOKE’ written down left leg, black sneakers with a white sole, and white gloves.

• A white male, 15-25 yearsold, tall, slim build, wearing a grey Ecko United hoodie, jeans, black gloves, and black sneakers.
