Tentative approval has been granted for reconstruction of existing sidewalks on Fir Avenue and Evergreen Drive in Salmon River.

Colchester County council granted in- principle approval during Wednesday night’s committee of the whole meeting to accept a bid of $ 198,630 ( plus HST) from Sackville Trenching Ltd., to complete the work. The decision is to be ratified at next week’s council session.

The bid was the lowest of 10 tenders received by the municipality.
