Peter Frederick Greer (Sept. 9, 1952 to March 10, 2017)

With deep sadness, the family of Peter Greer shares the news of Peter’s death.

During his life, he touched countless hearts and lives throughout the world.

Those left behind will feel the loss of his beautiful smile and compassionate nature for the rest of our lives.

Peter is survived by his wife, Alison Strachan, and children Daisy (Kepha) Pepin, George (Megan) and Jack Greer, and his grandchildren Ariel, Chanah, Tahir and Meore. Peter will be missed by his brother and sisters Anne (Jim), John (Vanessa), Peggy, Mary (Richard) and many nephews, nieces and their children.

A gathering to remember Peter’s life will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017, at the West Dublin Community Hall, Lahave, between 2:30 and 5:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Peter’s memory would be favoured as follows: “Peter Greer Bursary” – Carpenter Millwright Trades College (Cheques made out to the N.S. Carpenter Millwright Building Society can be mailed to 1000 Sackville Drive, Lower Sackville, N.S., B4E 0C2 or by email transfer to bursary@cmcns.ca) or to a charity of your choice.
