Truro Raceway schedules qualifiers

Truro Raceway is preparing to launch the 2017 race meet with three qualifying sessions:

Sunday, April 23 – Post time, noon

Draw Date: Friday, April 21, declaration box closes at noon

Sunday, April 30 – Post time, noon

Draw Date: Friday, April 28, declaration box closes at noon

Wednesday, May 3 – Post time, noon

Draw Date: Tuesday, May 2, declaration box closes at noon

New season on tap Truro Raceway management and staff are excited to be organizing the 143rd season of live harness racing, commencing Sunday, May 7 with a 1 p.m. post time.

Fresh looks at the track include resurfacing the half-mile oval with six loads of stone dust, along with a new coat of paint for the starting gate.

New licence for Maritimes Standardbred Canada has put together a new license for the Maritimes – the 2017 Paddock Access license.

This application merely grants access to the holder to Maritime paddocks in order to work for someone. For further information and fee structure on this new licence, contact a Standardbred Canada field rep.

Simulcast action Tomorrow afternoon Truro Raceway will also present exciting silmulcast action, kicking off at 1:20 p.m. in the Trackside Lounge with thoroughbreds from Aqueduct, followed by Gulf Stream, Woodbine and Century Downs harness at 4:30 p.m.
