MacDonald, E. Wayne, 72 Truro passed away Friday, April 21, 2017 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre Truro.

Born in Windsor, he was the son of the late Roy and Virginia ( Clayton) MacDonald.

Wayne worked as an auto mechanic at Goodspeeds Truro, later for Brett Motors and then to Pye Chev Olds. Ltd. He enjoyed rebuilding antique cars and was a long- time member of the Golden Age Auto Club.

Wayne enjoyed hunting and was a guide for moose hunting in Cape Breton, and also enjoyed his time at the camp in Greenfield. He was an avid NASCAR fan, loved the outdoors and was blessed with many friends. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nadine ( Hodge) MacDonald; daughters Heather Black ( Lee) of Belmont, Renee LeBlanc ( Duane) of Bible Hill. Grandchild­ren, Danica, Tabitha and Connor. Also survived by his good buddy Chevy dog. Besides his parents, he was predecease­d by brothers Don, Ian; and sister, Marilyn Mitchell; brother in law Frank Mitchell.

Arrangemen­ts have been entrusted to the Mattatall~ Varner Funeral Home 55 Young Street Truro.
