Graham, Peter “Woodie” Woodbury – 81, Upper Stewiacke, passed away suddenly, surrounded by his family, Friday, May 26, 2017 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Pembroke he was the son of the late H. Beveridge and Henrika (Fulton) Graham. He was a forestry contractor for most of his life; was a 50year volunteer firefighte­r and was a member of the Springside United Church. His family was his world. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ruth (Shearer); children, Peter (Cathy), Mark (Jeannette), Jill Queripel, Gayle (Garnet); grandchild­ren, Brittanie (Carmen) MacPhee, Ryan (Crystal) Graham, Petra (Patrick) Graham, Kurt Queripel, Natalie Fisher, Kaleigh Queripel, Maggie Fisher, Colton Graham, Garrett Graham. His pride and joy his “greats” Austin, Sophie, Autumn, Leah, Lainey and Andi. Also survived by siblings, Nan (Len) Adams, Neil (Mary) Graham, Eldon (Joyce) Graham, Beverly Sears, Bernice Byers, Ross (Marjorie) Graham, Ron (Alvera) Graham; brothers-in-law Grant Benvie, Gerald Shearer, Keith (Joan) Shearer, Wayne (Diane) Shearer; nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predecease­d by sister, Kea Benvie; inlaws, Dorothy and Henry Shearer; brothers-in-law, Larry Shearer, David Shearer and Art Sears. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 1 from 1 -2 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m., all in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, with Rev. Boyd Vincent officiatin­g. Interment will be in Proven Cemetery, Burnside. In lieu of flowers donations in Woodie’s memory may be made to a charity of choice.
