Elsie M. Ryalls

NIANTIC, CT – Elsie M. Ryalls, 78, of Giants Neck Rd., died Friday, May 26, 2017 in Lawrence & Memorial Hospital, New London. Mrs. Ryalls was born on April 29, 1939 in The Falls, Nova Scotia, Canada the daughter of Edward and Elsie Cook.

She is survived by her son Butch and daughter Rosemary, as well as brothers Charlie (Reta), Lawson (Sharon), Foster, James (Blanche), Kenneth(Karen). She is predeceased by her first husband Lionel R. Sherrer, her second husband George E. Ryalls, and son J.R Ryalls. Also siblings Raymond, Chester, Gladys, Isabel. Nephews Bobby and Dwaine.

She enjoyed many vacations in Aruba as well as frequent trips back to Nova Scotia with her husband and friends. Many years were spent with the Friday night dinner Gang and summer evenings with friends at McCook’s beach. She also found pleasure in the numerous shopping excursions, both at home and out of state.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 11 a.m. in Flander’s Baptist Church, 162 Boston Post Rd., East Lyme. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Niantic.
