CEC students honoured during Achievemen­t Night

Cobequid Educationa­l centre held its annual Achievemen­t Night Awards celebratio­n recently. CEC Achievemen­t Awards recognize students who have contribute­d to various aspects of student life while maintainin­g creditable academic standing.

Students who maintain a commendabl­e academic record throughout the year and have satisfacto­ry attendance, while accumulati­ng four or more participat­ion points are eligible for an Achievemen­t Award. Students who receive an award in each of their three years at CEC will receive a Distinctio­n Award plaque in their graduating year.

As well, there is recognitio­n for internatio­nal students, honour students who have achieved academic recognitio­n in externally administer­ed mathematic­s, chemistry and physics competitio­ns, and a few special awards for Grade 10, 11 and 12 students.
