WATSON, Terry Douglas, 62, Truro, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro on June 27, 2017.

Born in Truro, he was the son of the late Verne and Hazel (Wilson) Watson.

In his early years Terry worked on a farm, then for Crossley Carpet, and in later years for Safety First Contractin­g.

He loved the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey team, as well as hunting, fishing and spending time with family. He was a devoted husband, father, co-worker and friend to many.

He will be sadly missed by those who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Tammi (Northup); children, Nathaniel, Braedyn, Maddison, Ashton, Mykelti, Kirk (Tina) and their children, Alexander, Garret, Samantha; brother, Wayne; sistersin-law, Jodi (Shawn), Jami, Traci (Kevin), Kristina, Vanessa, Whitney, Jesse, Lynda; mother-in-law,

Doreen (Billy); nieces and nephews, Carissa, Dustin, Austin, Coraleigh (his princess), Logan, Brooklyn, Genia, Ellias, Lexi, Maxwell, Jordan, Elaina. Besides his parents he was predecease­d by step-son, Tristen. Cremation has taken place.

Visitation will be held from 68 p.m. on Sunday, July 2 with Memorial Service Monday, July 3, at 2 p.m., all in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, Rev. Ian Harrison officiatin­g. Reception will follow the service. Interment in Harmony Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Colchester East Hants Palliative Care or to Autism Nova Scotia.

Special thanks to the Palliative Care Unit, Dr. Smith, Dr. Locke, Jane Rogers, Walter Nelson and many other special friends.
