Stinson, Thurbide lead Kinsmen to win

Jacob Stinson and Cole Thurbide led the way as the Bible Hill Kinsmen downed Markie Bus Tours 15-2 recently in the mosquito division of the Bible Hill Truro Minor Baseball Associatio­n.

Both players pitched shutout innings and were hot at the plate. Stinson stroked a double and three singles, drove in two runs and scored four times, while Thurbide went 3-for-3 with a walk, homerun, four RBI and three runs scored.

For Markie’s, Kasey MacSwain hit a deep double and Cailynn Prosper swatted a two-run homer in the second inning.

RJ Toney and Connor Stewart pitched.

Supplement King 18 Pye Apartments 12 Offensive leaders for Supplement King were Jayden Holmes, who went 3-for-4 with a home run; Hunter Bartlett, 3-for-5 with a double and a triple and Travis McAndrew, who went 4-for-4.

Pitcher Maddox McInnis picked up the win, while Holmes and Jaden Duncan pitched in relief. Offensive leaders for Pye’s were Kyah Lovell, 4-for-4, and Chloe Garcia and Jack Rau, who each added three hits.

Classic Rentals 16

Tyler Murphy singled, doubled and tripled for MacQuarrie­s, while Paul Worden added three singles.

Brayden Dorn homered and singled twice for Classic Rentals and Noah Reyes had a four-hit night, pounding out two singles and two doubles.

MacQuarrie­s pitchers were Matt Rector, Logan Roop and Brett Murphy. Reyes, Dorn and Ryder Burton threw for Classic Rentals.
