Embracor defeats Markie Bus Tours

Embracor Medical defeated Markie Bus Tours 10-2 in Bible Hill-Truro minor baseball mosquito division play Thursday.

Aaliyah Morin, Zander McKeigan and Owen Paris each pitched one inning and had two strikeouts apiece for Embracor.

At the plate, Tyler Murray had a single, triple and a home run to drive in four runs.

Savanna Scullion hit a threerun homer and added a single; Mathew Scullion hit two singles and scored two runs; Logan Dickie hit two doubles for two RBI; and Zander McKeigan hit two singles and scored twice.

For Markie, Brayden Croft-Shay pitched one inning striking out three and Chris Decoste pitched one inning posting two strikeouts.

At the plate for Markie, Chris Decoste hit a double and a triple for one RBI; Brayden Croft-Shay hit two singles; William Pictou hit two singles; Cailynn Prosper hit a single and scored a run; and Mataya Toney hit a single.

In other mosquito action Thursday Fundy Textiles downed MacQuarries 16-7.

Pitching for Fundy Textiles were Austin Hoyt, Kasey Rushton and Griffin Scott, combining for seven strikeouts.

For MacQuarries, Logan Roop, Brett Murphy and Matt Rector split pitching duties, fanning three batters.

At the plate for Fundy, Kasey Rushton, Josh Thompson and Austin Brown all had two hits.

MacQuarries got two hits apiece from Logan Roop and Matt Rector.
