Wildlife Fun

SAT., AUG. 12: Library day at the Wildlife Park. Admission half price with a CEHPL library card; available at local branch or sign up at park. 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Family Show

TUES., AUG. 15: Jamie Junger, children’s singer/songwriter performing his family show, “Fishin for Pickles.” Show starts at 10:30 a.m. at the library.

Heroes and Adventurer­s

TUES., AUG. 15 – Role-playing game night, Truro Public Library from 5:30 – 8 p.m.; we provide the supplies.

Guitar Workshop

THURS., AUG. 17: Learn to make a One String Guitar at the library; for ages 8 and up; limit of 10 spaces; $5 sign-up fee required, to be refunded the workshop. Program runs from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Fort Night

TUES., AUG. 22: Family Fort Night in the Children’s Department, Truro library; pajamas welcome; registrati­on is appreciate­d. 6 - 7:30 p.m.

Teddy Bear Picnic

TUES., AUG. 22: Teddy Bear Picnic for ages 4-7. 10:30-11:15 a.m., Truro library.

Safety

THURS., AUG. 24: Back to School Safety, with Truro Police at library; story time, police station tour, crosswalk safety and K-9 demonstrat­ion; ages 5-12, 10 a.m. – noon.
