Kentville scored their only goal of the game 28 seconds into the third on the power play, when Matthew Raike managed to get one by Truro goalie Alec MacDonald.

Daniel Little put one into the empty Kentville net on a shorthanded effort to round out the 4-1 final. Newly-appointed captain Campbell Pickard picked up the assist.

The Bearcats had 38 shots on the Kentville net, where Denny and Brent Walters shared duties.

MacDonald turned aside 25 of the Wildcats’ 26 shots.
