The Dal AC Rams women’s soccer team continued their winning ways on the weekend posting two more victories and running their unbeaten streak to nine straight.

The beat goes on for the Dalhousie Rams women’s soccer team.

Another day on the pitch, another victory for the Rams, who extended their undefeated streak to nine games on Sunday in the Atlantic Colleges Athletic Associatio­n.

The Rams rallied in the second half, overcoming a two- goal deficit to edge the Holland Hurricanes 3- 2 at the Terry Fox Complex in Cornwall, P. E. I.

It was the second weekend win for the Rams, who downed the Crandall Chargers 3- 1 on Saturday on the Bible Hill pitch.

In Cornwall, the Rams trailed 2- 0 at the break, as the Hurricanes got goals from Nicole Ferguson and Sabrina Molnar in the first half.

Sian Rankin of the Rams cut the deficit to one in the 65th minute, before Shanice Maxwell tied the match in the 85th minute. Maxwell struck again in the 90th minute and the Rams left the island with a victory.

Dal AC keeper Summer Nasr earned the win.

On Saturday, after a scoreless first half, the Rams scored three straight second- half goals and picked up a victory in their final home game of the regular season.

Eliza Leitch of the Rams broke a scoreless tie in the 72nd minute, while Leah Wiseman made it 2- 0 in the 84th minute. Rankin delivered in the 86th minute to put the match out of reach. Former CEC Cougar Alyssa Dykeman was the lone Crandall player to score on Nasr.

With the wins, the first- place Rams run their winning steak to six games and improve their overall record to 7- 1- 2.

In men’s action, the Rams dropped a pair over the weekend, falling 3- 1 to the Chargers and 8- 1 to the Hurricanes.

Ekene Iheshiulo scored the lone goal for Dal AC against Crandall, while Al Loureio scored for the Rams against the firstplace Hurricanes.

With the losses, the Rams fall to 1- 9- 0.
