WELTON, Ralph Roland, 76, Economy – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ralph Roland Welton on October 6, 2017.

Ralph was born October 18, 1940 to James “Jim” Welton and Jennie (Kennie) Welton in Pleasant Hills, Economy.

Ralph was raised by his mom and chosen father, Leo Webb. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He leaves behind three step-children, Doug (Barbara), Rob (Cathy) and Brian (Shannon) Davis; his beloved dogs, Buddy and Bailey and cat, Susie.

Ralph was predecease­d by his wife Sandy and step-daughter Susie; his brother, Donald and sister, Greta (Cook) Welton; nephew Bob Matix. Ralph loved animals and a special

mention to his dogs, Tramp, Lady, Missy, Rascal and Rusty and cat Sam who predecease­d him.

Ralph was the owner and operator of Seaboard Painting and Contractin­g with over 50 years as a businessma­n. He will be dearly missed by his crew at Seaboard.

There will be no funeral at Ralph’s request. A celebratio­n of life will be held on Sunday, November 5, 2017 beginning at 2 p.m. in the Economy Recreation Centre. Donations made in honour of Ralph Welton or Seaboard Painting and Contractin­g may be made to the SPCA, Colchester Branch.
