Ten-dash card set for Sunday
Race goers will enjoy the excitement and competition of 65 horses from gate to wire Sunday afternoon at Truro Raceway.
Sunday’s nine-dash card hits the track at 1 pm. Qualifying rounds are set for 11:45 a.m.
Entries powering Sunday’s feature include last week’s winner, Giant Slayer, for Ian MacDonald, along with Inverness starter Euchred, Distinctiv Rusty for Ryder Matthews Rennison, Andrea Rennison and Cathy Benedict; Glenview Paisley for Ron Harris; Dr. R James Shive’s Weather Hanover and Rusty Riley for Cape Breton connections out of the Paul Langille camp.

Seniors on a roll
A pair of Truro Raceway’s 14-year-old challengers, Sharon The Moment for Devin and Charles O’Connor and Jenifer Baxter’s Intrepidus, continue their winning ways, posting rst and second last Sunday in a race time of 1:59.4 to top a $226.50 triactor.
The raceway’s third senior, Bagle Man, owned by Bob Collette, scored a fourth-place nish.

Harrisburg sale continues
Founded in 1939, the annual Standardbred Horse Sale Company yearling and mixed sale commenced on Nov. 6 and nalizes today, Nov. 10.
Held in the PA Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg, 1,700 head are catalogued to go through the sale’s ring.
Atlantic Canadians purchasing stock to date include Wayne MacRae, Windemere Farms, Doug Polley, Al McNeil, omas Hawco, Bruce McGean, Dr. Trevin Shive, Blaine MacPherson, Wayne McGean and Kevin Harvey.
Simulcast programming
Truro Raceway will be o ering simulcast action today and tomorrow, kicking o each day at 1:20 p.m., with Aqueduct
oroughbreds and continuing into the evening with a host of tracks, including the nal card on the lineup, Woodbine Harness, with an 8:30 post.
Saturday afternoon, Red Shores Charlottetown will be on tap with an adjusted Remembrance Day post-time of 2 p.m.
