Wade Stanley Rushton

-

RUSHTON, Wade Stanley – It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Wade on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at the Halifax Infirmary.

By his side were the love of his life, Kelly, the apple of his eye, Janelle, soon to be son-in-law, Ruban and his second family, Edison, Lisa, Sidney and Camryn.

Next to spending time with his two girls, going on all of their hysterical adventures and playing with Janelle’s five dogs – Dallas, Ella, Molly, Raine and Talan, who he called his grandkids, Wade loved going to all the car shows around Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and his bi-annual trips to Carlisle, PA. You would find the three musketeers (Wade, Mike and Edison) always up to some sort of shenanigans and coming home with the craziest stories of their time together.

On the weekends that he wasn’t at a car show, you could find Wade somewhere on a golf course or cruising the back roads on his motorcycle.

He was employed at Scotsburn Dairy for 33 years, where he spent his day making people laugh with his one-liners and dry sense of humor.

Special thanks to the team aboard Lifeflight, the nurses and doctors at the VG 3A ICU and Halifax Infirmary MSICU 5.2. Also special thanks to his sister Marilyn for looking after him until his girls got there.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, February 28 at 3 p.m. in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Wade’s memory to the Bathurst SPCA or the MS Society of Nova Scotia.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Colchester Community Funeral Home, Truro. Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting:www. Colchestercommunity.com.
