- Kingston Jorel Desmond

Desmond, Kingston Jorel – 18. It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Kingston.

Born in Truro, he was the loving son of Tamara Desmond.

Kingston was a nomad and street musician who liked to roam. He was unique in every way possible and was never afraid to be himself.

He is survived by his loving mother, Tamara Desmond; brothers, Jeremiah, Daniel; sister, Kelandra; maternal grandmothe­r, Jean Desmond; maternal grandfathe­r, Al King; loving aunt, Florence Desmond; cousins, Tyren, Tyree, Shawn, Nyla and William; uncle, James Desmond (Alicia Archibald); uncle, Devon Mcnutt; uncle, Murray (Linda) Desmond; aunt, Carol (Bob); great paternal grandparen­ts, Charles and Evelyn (Clyke) Borden; partner, Sabastian, special family members, Javon, Jakeele, Tyvaisa; Godmother, Stephanie Curren; God siblings, Colin and Celine; many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Predecease­d by his paternal grandfathe­r, Shawn Borden; great maternal grandmothe­r, Rosalie Desmond.

Cremation has taken place with no visitation by request.

Kingston’s life will be celebrated Tuesday, Feb. 27 at 3 p.m. in First United Church, 711 Prince St., Truro, Rev. Valerie Kingsbury officiatin­g. Repast will follow in Memorial Hall. Donations in Kingston’s memory may be made to Canadian Mental Health Associatio­n or First United Church.
