Stewiacke Legion and Volunteer Fire Department Chase the Ace; every Friday until won; tickets sold 6 to 8 p.m. at both locations. Draw at the Legion approximat­ely 8:15 p.m.

OLD TIME DANCE

Douglas Street Recreation Centre, 7:30 p.m.; shared lunch, door prize, sponsored by Y Senior Citizens Group, age 50 and older welcome, admission $5.

SUPPER

Debert Legion Friday Night Supper 4:30-6 p.m. Chicken, vegetables, dessert, tea/coffee. Adults $10. Children under-12 $5. Takeouts available. Wheelchair accessible.

Truro Legion & Scotia Pool; Tickets sold at various businesses; call 902895-0233 for locations; tickets sold Sat. 2-4 p.m. at Truro Legion; building jackpot; draw 4:30 p.m. at Legion.

Income Tax Help

Community Volunteer Income Tax Program completing tax forms for low income persons, Truro Library, 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Call 896-4192, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday to Friday for appointmen­t. Drop-ins welcome.

Pancake Breakfast

Truro Lions Club Pancake Breakfast, 1100 Prince Street, Truro, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. $8; 12-and-under $5; 5-and-under free; pancakes, bacon, sausage, beans, etc. Proceeds to Food Bank.

Coffee House

Nazarene Church Gospel Coffee House, 6:30 p.m.; Freedom Road & Friends; freewill offering; shared lunch to follow.
