Homeschoolers Haven
May 1 – 1:30 – 3:00 p.m.; Ages 5 and up. A meeting place for homeschoolers to get together and share resources.
Heroes and adventurers
May 1-5:30 – 8 p.m.; We will play Dungeons and Dragons. All ages welcome.
Gourmet for Loonies
May 2 – Ages 13-18, 5-6 p.m.; Join us to learn to make international meals, food hacks, and fun.
C.A.F.E. Make
May. 2 - For ages 13-18, 3:30 – 4 p.m.; Make crafts, art, fashion, and electronics.
BLAST
May 2 - For ages 13-18, 6:15 – 8 p.m.; Exciting events for teens only in the TD Teen Program Room; opportunities for fun, food, learning, and volunteering.
Teen Super-powers Hour
May. 2 – For ages 13-18, 4 -5 p.m.; Super-powers hour will concentrate on accelerated learning and life and learning hacks.
Backyard Chickens
May 2- 6:30 -8 p.m.; Join Rosaria Campbell from for an interactive discussion of what you should think about if you are considering backyard or urban poultry.
Meditation
May 3-6:30-7:30 p.m.; Peaceful Abiding Meditation; Ages 16+. Participants learn through gentle practice to recognize, appreciate and strengthen the capacity for present moment awareness.
Needlework Drop-in
May 3 – 6-7:30 p.m.; Spend time with others who love to do needlework crafts such as knitting and crochet. Bring your own needlecraft project, meet friends, share ideas.
Word nerds
May 3-6-7:30 p.m.; Join others at our writers group. We’ll share our work, help reach writing goals, and write. Ages 13+. Contact the Truro library to register.
