IVES, Robert Russel “Bob,” 75, of Greenfield, passed away peacefully at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre Truro, on Monday, April 30, 2018, surrounded by his loving wife and family.

Born in Truro, he was a son of the late Russell and Beryl (Walker) Ives.

Besides his parents he was predecease­d by infant brother Harry. Bob is survived by his wife, Diane Langille; sons, Robbie (Denise), Valley, Kevin ( Vicki), Middle Stewiacke; grandchild­ren, Mitchell (Becky), Damien, Christian (Miranda), Connor (Lynden), Baillie (Rebecca), Tanner (Lauren), Noah (Avery); four great- grandchild­ren; brother, Art (Dorothy), Truro; sister, Mary (Andy Charette), Mission B.C.; several nieces and nephews.

Bob was with the Truro Police Ser- vice for a number of years, and retired from the N.S. Correction Service, Truro. He was also a member of the Truro Lions Club for 28 years.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the nurses and doctors in ICU for the excellent care given to Bob.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of the Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street Truro. No visitation or service at this time by Bob’s request. Interment at a later date.

Donations in Bob’s memory may be made to the N.S. Lung Associatio­n or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of N.S.
