LAW, David Seymore “Woody” - 73, Upper Stewiacke, passed away suddenly as the result of heart complicati­ons, on Saturday evening, May 26, 2018, at home.

Born in Truro, he was a son of the late Stanley and Lorraine (MacNutt) Law.

David began his working career with Latimer Constructi­on, then worked with Lafarge Canada and for the past 35 years has been self- employed as a dairy farmer.

David enjoyed his antique tractors, kept busy “tinkering and fixing” and was willing to drop the shovel at any time to help someone.

David is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Marjorie Alice (Duncan); sons, Jamie ( Shawn) Crowe, Vince (Wendi) Crowe, Upper Stewiacke; grandchild­ren, Kelsey, Bailey, Cydney, Avery, Brandt; brothers, Walter Law, Brookfield; Arthur ( Marie) Law, Truro; several nieces and nephews.

All are welcome to attend a graveside service that will be held 3 p.m., Wednesday, May 30, 2018, at South Branch Cemetery, Ridge Road, South Branch. ( Take Highway 289 into Middle Stewiacke; turn right onto Cloverdale Road; turn left on South Branch Road and then turn left onto Ridge Road. Cemetery is on the right hand side approximat­ely 3 km down this road.)

If so desired, donations in David’s memory to a charity of choice are welcomed. Arrangemen­ts have been entrusted to Mattatall-varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro.
