MURPHY, Mary Kathleen (McCracken, nee Sadlier), Truro, slipped peacefully into the presence of her Saviour, on Friday, June 15, 2018 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro.

Born August 8, 1923 in Enagh, County Roscommon, Ireland, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Lyttle) Sadlier.

Mary was generous, hard-working, and full of fun. She always had room at her table and welcome in her heart for all who needed care. She will be remembered with joy and love by all who knew her.

She was saved by grace on December 7, 1945, trusting in the Lord Jesus’ life, death, and resurrecti­on on her behalf.

Through hard times and good, the scriptures were her strength and comfort. Her favourite verse was Psalm 18:30 -As for God, his way is perfect:

She is survived by her children Bill (Jeanette), Kathleen (Bob), Brian (Arlene), Robert (Ruth), Tom (Deb), Esther (late Ken), and Maureen (David); 22 grandchild­ren; 30 great grandchild­ren.

She was predecease­d by her rst husband John Mccracken; her second husband Matt Murphy; daughters, Eleanor and Lynn (Brad). Arrangemen­ts are under the direction of the Mattatall~varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. A memorial service will take place on Friday, June 22nd at 2 p.m. in the Young Street Gospel Hall, Truro, with a reception to follow. A family burial will take place at a later date.
