If you’ve ever wondered what $6 million gets you in the way of a home on P.E.I., check out the list of most expensive residence that are up for grabs on the emerald isle.
A sprawling estate in Cable Head East is the most expensive home up for grabs on Prince Edward Island’s real estate market.
While the $5.9-million oceanfront home along the north shore of Kings County is by far the most expensive purchase available, there are some others that will still cost buyers a pretty penny.
International real estate search portal Point2 Homes recently compiled a list of the 10 most expensive homes on the P.E.I. market.
The only Prince County property in the listing is a home in Margate with a $ 1.9- million price tag, putting it in the No. 4 position. The almost $2-million address is 59 River View Cres. It features a main house, plus a loft above the detached four-door garage, that offers a separate living area with two bedrooms, family room, living room, kitchen, dining room and two bathrooms.
The places with the most luxury are Charlottetown and Stratford, which each feature three of the most expensive homes, while New Glasgow boasts two homes in the top 10.
A $2.7-million home in Stratford at 80 Battery Point Dr. took the second spot, while a $2.2-million listing at 460 Heather Dunes Lane in Savage Harbour rounded out the top three.
In New Glasgow, 55 Furber Dr. is selling for $1.79 million, and a $1.386 million home along Route 258 was No. 8. The latter’s listing price actually increased from $988,000 in 2017.
The priciest buy in Charlottetown is 351 North River Rd., which came in at No. 7 on the list at $1.58 million.
The “cheapest” home on the rankings is in Charlottetown, a nearly $1.2-million penthouse in a Richmond Street condominium complex.
To compile this list, Point2’s team of researchers looked at the entire P.E.I. market, using its own database as well as national portals and local brokerages.
