Little White Schoolhous­e Museum is holding crafts Thursdays, 2 p.m. during the summer, at 20 Arthur St.; admission by donation; children under 12 should be accompanie­d by an adult.

Spiritual Group

The Guiding Light Spiritual Group meets every Thursday at 7 p.m., Douglas Street school room 12, 40 Douglas St., Truro.

Bingo

Bingo every Thursday night 7 p.m., Wentworth Recreation Centre. Regular games; specials; jackpot.

Canasta

Thursday, 1-3 pm; Come and learn the game. $2 fee, or free to members. Colchester Historeum, 29 Young St., Truro. All players welcome.

Bible School

Vacation Bible School will take place July 9 to 12 at St. Andrews United Church.

Strawberry Supper

St. David’s United Church Hall, Bible Hill; barbecued hots/hams, Italian sausage, strawberry shortcake, etc.; drop in; pay only for what you order.

FRIDAY, JULY 13 Barbecue

North Shore Curling Club barbecue fundraiser at Scotiabank in Tatamagouc­he, with proceeds donated to North Shore Rec Centre Sports field.

Townsview Tea

Townsview Estates Strawberry Shortcake Tea and Bake Sale, 310 Abenaki Road. 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. $5 admission.

SATURDAY, JULY 14 Coffee House

Nazarene Church Gospel Coffee House at 6:30 p.m.; Freedom Road & Friends; freewill offering; shared lunch to follow.

Open House

Saturday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.; stop by the Historeum and check out our exhibits. Colchester Historeum, 29 Young St., Free admission, all welcome.

Buffet Supper

Ham and salad buffet supper with Strawberry Shortcake will be held at Bass River United Church Hall 4:30-6 p.m. adults $12; children 12 and under $5; sponsored by UCW.

Lobster Dinner

Lobster Dinner at Salem United, River John, 11 a.m. until sold out; lobster, potato salad, coleslaw, etc.; eat in or take out; adult $20; child $10; ham available: adult $10; child $5.

Queen of Hearts

Queen of Hearts draw, Tatamagouc­he Legion and North Shore Rec. Centre, held at the Legion; jackpot approx. $7,000; 16 cards remain, 2 to 4 p.m.; everyone welcome; draw at 4:15 p.m.

SUNDAY, JULY 15 Jamboree

Jamboree, Warwick Mountain Rec. Club, featuring Winnie & Curtis and Friends, Dale Munroe, Bill Hill & Friends, 6:30-9 p.m. $5 admission; 50/50; door prize; lunch provided.

TUESDAY, JULY 17 Tea and Cheesecake

Little White Schoolhous­e Museum, 20 Arthur St., is serving tea and cheesecake every Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. during the summer. Admission is $5.

Leadership Training

Youth Leadership Training, July 17 to 19 at First United Church. Programmin­g will be from 9 a.m. to noon each morning; suggested cost is a $10 donation. Al-anon Meets
