Irma Evangeline Lemmons – 80, Bible Hill, It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Irma Evangeline (Lynds) Lemmons on October 14, 2018. She was born to the late Alfred and Cecilia (Crowe) Lynds in Onslow Mountain, N.S. Irma had many hobbies including knitting, crocheting, crafts and sewing. She was an active member of her church for almost sixty years. Irma worked at the Starway Restaurant and Stan elds. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth; daughters, Beverly (Basil) Crowe, Bible Hill, Bonnie (David) Harnish, Bible Hill,

Janice Manley, Grande Prairie and Cindy Lemmons, Grande Prairie; son, David, Amherst; sisters, Phyllis (Charles) Wilson, Truro, Rose (Morris) Mccallum, Truro, Jane (David) Moore, Truro, Darlene (Kerry) Blackie, Bridgewate­r, Joan (Warren) Mcauley, Bridgewate­r; brothers, Eric (Nancy), Ontario, Donnie (Helen), Onslow, Willie (Vie), Truro. Irma is also survived by her grandchild­ren, James Harnish (Brianne Muise), Truro, Nicole Schrader (Ryan Mitton), Amherst, Nicholas (Tove) Crowe, Victoria, B.C., Matthew Harnish, Truro, Corey Manley (Ashley Caudron), Grande Prairie, Jonathon Harnish, Halifax, Lacey Lemmons, Truro, Craig (Jillian) Manley, Grande Prairie, Courtney (Daniel) Crowe, Truro, Aaron Tipping, Truro; great-grandchild­ren, Brook Lynn, Autumn, Kenny, Nevyn, Nathan, Tasia, Emmaline, Seth, Brayden, Peyton, Hailey; great, greatgrand­child, Kaya and many nieces and nephews. Irma was predecease­d by son, Kirk; brothers, Robert, Foster and Murray and sister, Irene Otterson. Special thank-you to the VON and the Colchester East Hants Health Centre Palliative Care Unit. A service of remembranc­e will be held on Thursday, October 18th at 2 p.m. in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro with Pastor Scott Penner o ciating. Interment will be in West Branch Cemetery – North River. Donations in Irma’s name may be made to the Truro Alliance Church Building Fund.
