Wentworth cannabis facility introduces new strain
The cannabis production facility in Wentworth has introduced a third strain to its retail lineup.
The new line is called Mirage, an indica-dominant hybrid, and is billed as Breathing Green Solutions’ strongest strain in its SKOSHA lineup and which makes it “ideally suited for evening enjoyment,” the company says in a news release.
The strain is inspired by the Bay of Fundy, the release said, where boats resting on the ocean floor at low tide can seem like a mirage.
“Mirage is a powerhouse indica with a bursting terpene profile that delivers a truly unique experience,” said Chief Operations Officer, Joe Sanford.
He said Mirage’s strong indica-dominance provides a nice contrast in the SKOSHA strain line-up alongside its debut flagship sativa, Nor’easter.
“Our team here in Wentworth has been putting a lot of time into working with this strain, and we couldn’t be more proud to bring yet another locally handcrafted cannabis variety to market for Nova Scotians to enjoy,” Sanford said.
SKOSHA is Nova Scotia’s first licenced cannabis brand and is the first homegrown Nova Scotia cannabis available for purchase in the province through the NSLC.
At launch, SKOSHA’S Mirage will be available only in Nova Scotia, exclusively in whole flower at a 3.5-gram packaged weight. It is listed as having THC content of 15.19 per cent and a CBD content of 0.03 per cent.
Mirage’s is described as having a “terpene profile of pinene, caryophyllene and limonene” that combines to deliver a unique smell of herbal lemon cake batter.”
“This terpene profile extends to Mirage’s tasting notes, with initial hints of citrus balancing to a woody, herbal finish.”
