The closure will affect Aquafit, senior and parent-tot swim, public and member lane swim, and swimming lessons. The pool will also be unavailabl­e to the Wolfville Tritons Swim Club and Acadia’s summer camp program.

“We’re hopeful that we’ll be up and running on schedule,” says Dickie.

“The Acadia pool is an important asset within our community and even a short term closure interrupts the fitness and recreation routines of many people. Of course, like any facility, it needs to be looked after to remain open, and this was one of the few windows available to us to make these important repairs.”
