• Annapolis Valley Regional Library Bookmobile — From 11 a.m. until noon, the bookmobile will be in Brooklyn, Hants County; from 1:30–4:30 p.m., it will be in Summerville.

• Dance — At the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 009 in Windsor from 7–11 p.m., with music by the Island Boys. Admission: $5. Adults only. Info: 902798-0888.

• Yard Sale and Bake Table — At St. .John’s Presbyterian Church, 211 King St., Windsor, from 8 a.m. until noon. Featuring beans and brown bread.
• Turkey Supper — At the Three Mile Plains Community Hall at 5 p.m. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. Cost: $12 for adults; $6 for children under 10 years of age. There will be 50/50 tickets as well as live music.
• Harvest Sale — At St. James Church in Brooklyn from 8 a.m. until noon. Full breakfast for freewill offering served from 8-10 a.m. Yard sale items, baked items, preserves and craft tables, plus there will be a silent auction table. Admission is $1.
• Halloween Dance — At the Falmouth Community Hall from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m. Tickets: $10, available at the pizza shop in Falmouth or by calling 902-798-0396.
• Halloween Dance — At the St. Croix Community Hall from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m. Halifax DJ Services providing the entertainment. Cash prizes for best costume and best group costumes.
• Ticket Auction, Bake Sale, Silent Auction — At Michael’s Anglican Church, Windsor Forks. There will be tickets on a quilt as well. Viewing begins at 1 p.m.; drawing starts at 2 p.m. Proceeds in support of roof repairs for the church.

• Turkey Dinner — At the Minasville Community Hall, 3680 Hwy 215, Minasville, from 4-6 p.m. Cost: $12 for adults; $6 for children age five and up; free for children under the age of five years.
• Castle Frederick Farms Hike — Hike Nova Scotia and West Hants Parks and Recreation present a guided hike at Castle Frederick Farms in Falmouth at 11 a.m. You must pre-register by emailing hollylross@hotmail.com. Qualify to win a trail prize. See www.hikenovascotia.ca for details.
• Dime Auction — At the Ardoise Community Hall at 1 p.m. More than 100 new items including merchandise, gift certificates, baked goods, and more. There will also be a silent auction and a 50/50 draw. Canteen open. Doors open at noon.
• 50th Anniversary Service — At Noel United Church (the amalgamation of churches to form Noel United Church) at 10:30 a.m., regular service, at 7 p.m Historical presentation and music.

• Blood Donor Clinic — Held by Canadian Blood Services, this clinic will be at the Royal Canadian Legion in Windsor from 1-3 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. There are 192 appointments to fill. Residents are asked to book their appointments today by downloading the GiveBlood app or by visiting blood.ca.
