Born on Nov. 22, 1927, in Springhill, Cumberland County, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late John and Alice (Lewis) Coldwell. As a child she moved with her parents to Avonport. In her teenage years, she was a regular foot passenger on the M.V. Kippowa to Springhill. During the Second World War, she worked for the Canadian

Eudora was president numerous times of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Lucknow Branch 109, of the Royal Canadian Legion, Hantsport, and also president of the Kings Daughter’s, Hantsport Baptist Church. Later in life she worked at the Wolfville Nursing Home, in the kitchen. Eudora loved her family deeply and she instilled honesty and love to all of those she knew.
