Dykeland Lodge welcomes new administrator Krista Beeler
Dykeland Lodge, a provincially licensed 111-bed long-term care facility, recently welcomed Krista Beeler as the new administrator.
Peter Murray, chairman of the board at Dykeland Lodge, said the board is delighted by Beeler’s appointment as she has been instrumental in developing and executing revised strategies focusing on quality resident care, talent acquisition, retention and engagement, and financial sustainability.
The appointment recognizes her team’s newly empowered leadership and the board’s full confidence in a renewed direction, Murray said.
Before assuming the role with Dykeland Lodge, Beeler received her Bachelor of Science from Dalhousie University, with continued studies in gerontology and adult education from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax. She brings with her vast experiences and success in the fields of hospitality management, education, independent living and long-term care.
Through her career, Beeler has maintained her passion about building and inspiring strong teams to deliver “resident first and resident focused” care, Murray said.
Beeler said it’s an exciting time for all involved at Dykeland Lodge.
“We are taking on new projects to personalize the resident experience and providing outstanding programs and care. New employee training programs have been rolled out to attract and retain skilled health care professionals for our team,” she said.
“I am thrilled and look forward to serving the board in this new role at Dykeland Lodge and leading our team as we embrace a new direction.”
