Mondays: SOUP — At 1 p.m. Enjoy soup, drink and dessert for free. Bring a friend.

Tuesdays and Thursdays: Coffee — From 10 a.m. to noon; $2 for coffee, tea and snacks.

Tuesday nights: 45’s card party — Cost: $5 per person.

Thursdays: Darts — At 7 p.m. All skill levels welcome.

Fridays: Jam Session — At 7 p.m. All welcome to listen or perform.

• Winter Carnival Kick Off — At the Isabel & Roy Jodrey Memorial Library in Hantsport from 6-7:30 p.m. There will be a variety of crafts and games as well as a special visit from Hantsport`s Winter Carnival Mascot Chilly Willy.

All ages are welcome for this Family Literacy Day event.

• Fundraiser — Quick As A Wink Theatre is hosting a preview of their new show, Oliver, with proceeds going to West Hants Ground Search and Rescue. The show, held at the Fountain Hall Performing Arts Centre • Breakfast — At St. Andrew’s Anglican Church Hall. 59 Main St., in Hantsport, from 7-10 a.m. Menu includes: pancakes, eggs, ham, beans, hash browns, toast, juice, tea or coffee. Sponsored by the Hantsport & District Lions Club, with proceeds going towards the club’s community service programs. Cost: $7; or $3.50 for children ages six to 12 years; and free for children five years and younger.
