Beacon is the first of three towers in Seylynn Village, a modern residential development comprising a 24- storey tower of luxury condominiums and five two-storey townhomes. The building’s architecture takes its cues from the surrounding landscape, local bridges and the area’s rich industrial heritage, incorporating glass, wood, metal and concrete elements. The vision was world-class and that was what Denna Homes delivered. Triple-ply glazed windows, individually controlled air- conditioned units and an extra elevator are only some of the features Beacon has to offer.
Denna’s designers then went to work to create an extensively landscaped pedestrian-friendly area with easy access to transit, as well as parks, trails and river walks nearby. Fern Street, formerly part of the road network, was turned into a cul-de-sac where Denna built a row of street-level townhomes as part of the residential complex. The Beacon tower consists of 200 residential units ranging from 570-square-foot one-bedroom units to a 2,020-square-foot penthouse.
Residents of Beacon, and two other towers that will be 28 and 32 storeys high, will have access to Seylynn Village’s onsite Denna Club, an impressive 14,000- square- foot centre that has certainly raised the bar in North Shore fitness and leisure. Exclusive to residents will be a 25-metre infinity lap pool, a 3,700-square-foot fitness room, saunas, steam rooms, dedicated yoga and dance room, and a licensed day care.
