The whisky-soaked vocalist won two recent Grammy Awards for best country album and best performance for Traveller, his debut album. But success in music isn’t new to Chris Stapleton. He’s penned six No. 1 hits and 150 of his songs have been recorded by Adele, Brad Paisley and many other stars. An outstanding guitarist, he was frontman for Grammy-nominated bluegrass band SteelDrivers until 2010. Stapleton’s own songs are potent, whether the vibe is sweaty soul or the wistful jangle of radio hit Traveler. In Vancouver, Stapleton performs songs from a new release due in May.
