Coach x Selena Gomez accessories collection lands in stores in September
Oak + Fort annual warehouse sale is back and skin-care brand marks milestone
Pop star Selena Gomez is flexing her creative fashion muscles with the American leather goods brand Coach.
In collaboration with the company’s creative director, Stuart Vevers, Gomez has helped design a bag dubbed the Selena Grace.
“It was really fun to create this collection with Selena and design pieces that are cool and feminine like her,” Vevers said in a news release.
“When we designed the Selena Grace, it was about exploring the qualities Selena wanted in a bag and creating something that felt personal to her.”
The chic carryall features double handles, a slightly retroinspired shape and an inscription inside the bag featuring a favourite Gomez saying — “To be you is to be strong ” — as well as “Love yourself first” (said to be inspired by one of the star’s tattoos) embossed on the bottom of the bag.
Available in three colours — black, white and red — the release also includes bag charms, wallets and a new “Selena wristlet.”
“I’m very excited for everyone to finally see the design Stuart and I worked on together,” Gomez said in the release. “I can’t wait to carry it — it’s totally versatile, perfect to wear dayto-night and it goes with everything.”
The Coach x Selena Gomez collection is slated to land in Coach stores beginning Sept. 1.
