Aragon Properties adds two new projects to its impressive resume

Platform and The Peninsula noteworthy for both their look and location

It’s no surprise that two of the most interesting new residential projects currently underway in Metro Vancouver — Platform in Port Moody, and The Peninsula at Port Royal in New Westminster — are the brainchild of a single developer: Aragon Properties.

Since its inception 30 years ago, Aragon has built many striking residential communities across the Lower Mainland, all focused on an elevated sense of design and livability.

More importantly, however, is Aragon’s operating philosophy, which distinguishes it from other developers and is evident in both Platform and The Peninsula. Aragon challenges old real estate models by focusing on neighbourhoods with undiscovered potential, confident that its contributions will help transform the neighbourhoods and create tremendous value for homeowners.

Also evident in Platform and The Peninsula is Aragon’s commitment to clarity of form and purity of vision, with building materials carefully selected for longevity, architecture that embraces the past as well as the present, and the provision of upgrades as a standard offering. “Also, we design for space in mind, with layouts that make even our smallest homes seem large and inviting,” says Ameet Johal, Aragon’s director of sales and marketing.

Platform’s location is as important as the project’s diversity of ground-level live-work lofts, midrise condos and stacked townhomes. It is a short walk to the West Coast Express and newly opened Evergreen Line, meaning downtown Vancouver is only a 20-minute trip away. It is also in proximity to art shops and boutiques, as well as a recreation complex and brandname retail outlets. The waterfront and 25 kilometres of trails are also close by.

Brick cladding on Platform’s exterior and industrial colour tones and natural materials for the interiors pay tribute to the neighbourhood’s industrial roots. Stainless steel appliances and islands in the kitchen, plus a reclaimed brick feature wall, are standard for each home.

The Peninsula’s New Westminster location is also unique: as its name implies, it is located on the waterfront at the tip of Queensborough and surrounded by parks, playgrounds, walkways and a community garden. The 21-storey tower comprises a glass façade facing the Fraser River, and a traditional brick exterior facing the community.

Augmented by a marina, The Peninsula provides spectacular water to city to mountain views. The expansive one-, two-, and three-bedroom townhomes and condominiums are one of the highest-end collection of residences in Metro Vancouver, with penthousestyle features in all homes. There are no upgrades because luxury is all-inclusive here.

Construction at The Peninsula is now complete. To learn more, contact The Peninsula team at www.aragon.ca/thepeninsula or call 604-544-2258.
