FOUR MORE FASHION COLLABORATIONS WORTH CHECKING OUT

-

The fashion and beauty worlds can’t seem to get enough of collaboration collections. And we can’t, either.

With a new, cool brand mashup happening seemingly each week, we’ve rounded up a few of the latest collaborations that have us reaching for our wallets right now.

From supermodel makeup to outdoor matches made in adventure heaven, prepare for some seriously good shopping options this winter.

GIGI HADID X MAYBELLINE NEW YORK

Gigi Hadid’s total domination has moved beyond fashion and into the world of beauty with a new limited-edition collection with Maybelline New York.

The release, which sees Hadid expand her role of face of the brand and delve deeper into the creative process, includes two looks inspired by her supermodel status: the New York Glam and the L.A. Glow (available in Canada as the East Coast Glam and West Coast Glow, respectively).

The collection is said to be inspired by Hadid’s on-set experiences and struggles finding the perfect palettes and shades.

“I was never able to find a palette that incorporated my favourite colours for a complete look, and I have always believed great makeup doesn’t have to cost a fortune,” Hadid said in a news release.

“That’s why this partnership with my Maybelline family is so exciting — I was empowered to create something that I couldn’t find before, while also making sure it was a full set at an affordable price point.”

The Gigi Hadid x Maybelline New York includes mascara, lipstick, brushes and more and retails from $11.99 to $16.99 at mass retailers.

LEVI’S X ARITZIA

Levi’s jeans, which have long been the cool-girl’s go-to for denim, just got cooler thanks to a new collaboration with Aritzia.

The Canadian fashion retailer teamed up with the American denim brand for an exclusive collection of “vintage-inspired jeans” and we’re pretty sure people are going to want to scoop them all up.

Shoppers can expect to find two iconic Levi’s fits in the range — the 501 Skinny Ankle and the Wedgie jean — in four exclusive washes: Denim Memories, Only Yours, Mine Forever and Soft Ultra Black. The collection ranges from $98 to $118 and is available in Aritzia stores and online at Artizia.com.

THE NORTH FACE X VANS

When it comes to footwear, it doesn’t get much hotter than Vans. The California brand’s classic styles (think: Slip-Ons and Sk8-Hi silhouettes) have become the norm for the Fashion Week set.

But the brand is taking its adventure background to a new level thanks to a collaboration with The North Face.

The new holiday release sees the two companies create a range of adventure-approved items such as outerwear, duffel bags — and, of course, footwear — in three colours: red, black and yellow.

In addition to looking rugged, the range features technical elements that will keep the wearer warm and dry. So, basically, it’s perfect for gifting to the outdoor enthusiast on your holiday gifting list.

The North Face x Vans collection ranges in price from $110 to $240 and is available in stores and online at vans.ca now.

TOMMY X ROSSIGNOL

Speaking of outdoor adventures, Tommy Hilfiger has released a range that’s perfect for the fashion-forward skier or snowboarder.

Dubbed Tommy X Rossignol, the release features “premium” men’s winter garments in partnership with performance brand, Rossignol Group.

“Skiing and winter sports have been a passion of mine since I was young,” Tommy Hilfiger said in a news release. “I’ve wanted to develop this capsule collection for a long time, and Rossignol was the ultimate partner to bring the concept to life in a really iconic way.

“With our shared values on quality, perfect fit and merging fashion with technical function, we’ve designed a signature red, white and blue collection that works from the ski slopes to apres-ski.”

Shoppers can expect to see weatherproof jackets, cardigans and ski pants among the designs. The collection ranges in price from US$149 to US$829.

The Tommy X Rossignol collection is available at Tommy Hilfiger stores worldwide, as well as online at tommy.com.
