Ford sues WWE star Cena for selling supercar

- STANISLAV NACHEV Driving.ca

John Cena is a WWE professional wrestler and sometimes film star, but he’s also a big car aficionado, with a collection of both vintage and modern muscle cars and supercars.

Cena was selected by Ford last year to purchase one of around 500 GT supercars the company has built. But he recently turned around and flipped it for an undisclosed amount (he paid US$450,000).

The problem is, Ford has a clause in its purchase contract that states an owner can’t sell the GT for two years after buying it, so the Detroit company filed a lawsuit yesterday against Cena for breach of contract, fraudulent misrepresentation, and unjust enrichment.
