PHILOSOPHY Take a Deep Breath Eye They say:

A cooling eye gelcream featuring “clean-air technology” to boost oxygen levels to the eye area and revitalize skin. We say: Our tester tried this eye cream both day and night. The unscented lotion applied well and felt cool on the skin. A little goes a long way, and there is no tackiness on skin. While the product is targeted toward the 20-35 age group, our 60+ tester said her eyes looked subtly brighter and felt more hydrated. $42 | Sephora

ORIBE Radiant Drops Golden Face Oil They say:

A rich replenishing oil from the brand Oribe (yes, the luxe hair care line) that features a concentration of 13 natural oils to soften skin, improve elasticity and prevent damage from environmental aggressors such as pollution. We say: This luxe oil is thicker than some of the face options on the market, but it’s nonetheless very comfortable to wear and absorbs well. Our tester used it in the day (it made a fabulous makeup base) and at night (doubled up on application amount to act more like a mask). The overall effect was smoother skin that wasn’t greasy or weighed down. $126 | Holt Renfrew

VICHY Idéal Soleil Anti-Shine Dry Touch Lotion SPF 60

They say: A sunscreen that protects against both UVA and UVB rays, this “dry-touch” lotion is also sweat and water-resistant for up to 80 minutes. We say: Our tester tried this sunscreen before a full day of outdoor activities. The dry lotion is lightweight and absorbs well. Even while sweating, it remains comfortable on this skin. After a whole lot of (maybe too much) sun exposure, skin was free of redness or discoloration. $28.95 | Vichy.ca
